Body Dysmorphia

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), also known as Body Dysmorphia, Dysmorphic Syndrome, & Dysmorphophobia, is a mental illness that is often diagnosed 10 - 20 years after it develops, affects both men & women equally, & is frequently associated with obsessive compulsive disorders. Purpose

To provide information & support to those suffering BDD, their partners, families, & friends. We hold meetings once a month in Ashburton, with all welcome. This website is a place where people can anonymously share their stories, catchup on info from past meetings, & receive support from our volunteers.
